CHLA 3.0?
Alright, so I've decided to completely reform some of the ideas behind the CHLA. The "new CHLA" will consist of 12 teams, using 67% players from the Free Agent pool in NHL 11 and 33% players from the Polish, British, Italian, French and Japanese national teams. Each team will consist of 23 players (13 forwards, 7 defensemen, 3 goalies) and will play a schedule around 55-60 games. The league will use the National League from Austria's template, the reason for the 12-team league. Sims will be conducted as close to daily as possible, running from early October (hopefully, or else we'll retroactively sim) up to the middle of February. Then an 8-team playoff will begin, each with a best-of-seven series. I'll post a list of markets I'll include in the possibilities in the next post. Hopefully you'll be in the CHLA this season!
